Empty Hand Poem by Matthew Holloway

Empty Hand

Rating: 5.0

I chanced my hand my heart
Reached out to another
In the hope of something, anything
To kiss the unknown future
To talk and to discover
Life and all of its possibilities
~
The hand lay empty
Void of human touch
The heart it wept silently
As though to tell
There is no love left

So much said in the lines, The heart it wept silently As though to tell There is no love left. Well written and a 10!
