Eid means happiness,
The eraser of distance,
Bringer of love,
This is Eid we know of.

Eid knows no discrimination,
The poor and the rich in unison,
Do appear embracing one another,
This is Eid where same we all are.

Eid represents the touch of smile,
Spreading like sunshine all the while,
It is a festival grander,
This is Eid we wait for.

Eid refers to the reunification,
Of the hearts with passion,
It is a part of Islam,
This is Eid we heartily welcome.

Eid liberates the chained souls,
Purifies from the fouls,
It teaches us sympathy, charity and love,
This is Eid, a gift from above.
