Edge Of Your Mind Poem by Frankie Renae

Edge Of Your Mind

She sits on the edge of your mind
Someday her tears will find
A reason to cry
But for now her reasons are too far away
They have no excuses and nothing to say
Her reasons are far away
She sits on the edge of your mind
Waiting to fall
Someday her life will bring to her reasons to cry
But for now, she sits numb and waiting for time
Empty, she looks in her own eyes
Searching for herself, but she can't find
The place where her reasons dwell
Someday, she'll leave
The place on the edge of your mind
But you keep searching her eyes to find
Those reasons, those tears
And they fall only when you search but don't look
You can't read her like an open book
It's not written on her face
Cauz those tears hide their reasons too far away
