Echoes Of 'Romance' Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Echoes Of 'Romance'

Authors - Joyce Hemsley
and John William McGrath III.

The wonders of our childhood days
The angels with their message bold.
Sunshine, and the coloured rainbow
Are all God's gracious gifts of gold.
In the real world, we are humble,
Our God speaks with a happy heart.
He is the One deep in our soul;
He makes us wise and makes us whole.

Past poet laureates gave to us
A new and wonderful book of song,
Hymns of praise, from long ago;
Within their hearts, our thanks belong.
In this real world of pebbled shores
We love God's ever-glowing sky...
So take my trembling hand in yours,
I hear 'Romance' by Rubinstein.
