Eating The Light Poem by Bob Williams

Eating The Light

Rating: 5.0

When winning the lottery after a cool swim
When marring my wife after coming home from work
When running from Miss. death after eating apple pie
When walking from the light after palying some ball
When talking to father time after finding my shoe
I discoverd the meaning of life, after
The tax bill came
My wife got a divorce
Miss death caught up to me
I was forced into the light
Time stopped for good
That the real meaning of life is
Is right in front of you
