Each Touch A Melody Poem by Angela Brown

Each Touch A Melody

I remember my first
He was the temperament
of my brass crescendo
Rain down on me
Let me feel the notes from tempo
Keying in rhythm of cognate
My heart pound beats of desire
Let the notes escape the fire
Into a metaphoric hold of dreams
Tantric rhythm, droning sax
Poetic verse calling back
As eyes wide shut yearning desire
I felt loved by the tunes
That blow my mind with resonance
I feel loved by his essence
Moved by passion magnificent
Tunes float into dreary space
Drifting into extreme extract
It was only one love
And he was my only true love
He was my first love
The sound music
Brought me back in time
to the very first time
I fell in love
