Dust Unto Dust, Thou Shall Return. Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Dust Unto Dust, Thou Shall Return.

Rating: 5.0

Go beyond the clouds and skies,
go beyond the moon and stars,
go dwell where you can find rest
the earth is no longer your nest;
don't stay here, life has set you free
you can be the wind in the breeze
you can be the wave in the sea
you can be the air in the fire
you cannot stay back more
you have won the freedom of your soul.
Greater is the victory when afflictions disperse,
greater is death when life concedes to it,
go now, don't look back.
you cannot turn around
the earth is your enemy,
it will not hold you
you have lost gravity,
it is the end of your time
so go, don't wait more.
