Drone Swarms Poem by Shaun Cronick

Drone Swarms

Rating: 5.0

Drone Swarms the future for,
Any given target.
Flood that desired targets airspace,
With multiple targets,
All with a simple objective...
To kill it.
To remove it.
To complete their mission.
And now today,
They can now think for themselves,
They can now communicate with each other.
They can now delegate tasks,
After one obstacle has been removed.
They will move on to another objective.
They can now think independently.
And share information.
And operate as a pack.
These drone swarms.
These drone squadrons.
They're the future of aerial warfare.
And more.
Much more...
If they're programmed with facial recognition capability.
No-one would be safe.
It's in its infancy.
And first generation types have been used against,
Russia's Khmeimim airbase in western Syria.
To no real outcome just yet.
But remember early in the 20th century,
A person looking on an aircraft for the first time,
And saying to themselves...
This will be useful,
But nobody knows what it can do.

Good, good warning. We have already invented our own destruction with the Bomb! And now this, that gives us chills. This poem is very well written, , presenting future dangers, we are not informed or aware of yet! We are grateful to the illustrious Poet.
