dreaming of things far better than this
wanting something just out of reach
not knowing how to get to my goal
and wishing that you were here
to help guide me down the right path
wondering where you are
in this crazy world living your life
you know that one of my dreams
ever since i was a very little girl
is to sing for the world and yet here i am
sitting here all alone having daydreams again
and dreaming of better things
than this world filled with hate and animosity
i really do wish taht i could find my way
down this road to what i am supposed to be
and i really would like your help to
see that those dreams of betters things
will come true, oh so very soon
i constantly think of you
while i have these dreams of better things
