Time is fading and I am waiting,
you are beautIful and I am wanting.
The sun goes down and you are sleeping
I am lying in your arms.

Dreaming of you, singing to you,
thinking of you, walking beside you.

Silence is broken, your voice golden,
whispers of secrets and tales untold.
Plans within plans and hopes to die for,
the future unravels thread by thread.

Dreaming of you, singing to you,
thinking of you, walking beside you.

I blink and time has past
your wonderful, will it last.
We are older and not so young,
distance travelled and we have just begun.
