You held me so tight,
In your arms last night.
I felt so good in your
Warm embrace!
You looked up at me
With those oh so beautiful
Eyes..and your precious smile!
You told me your feelings for
Me and I professed mine for you.
We held hands all night and you
Gave me the softest kisses I have
Ever had….and we both had butterflies!
We talked and laughed and loved
All night…and it was the greatest night
Either of us have ever had….until
The unthinkable happened…
I awoke, alas my perfect night in
Heaven with you was a dream…
The most perfect dream I could
Have ever dreamed-
