Dream Poem by Robert Dominicci

Dream

Cleared sky
Sun filled manner
Days full of joy
A once remembered feeling

When his heart used to pound his chest
When butterflies flew
Soared within his soul
When hearts skipped beats

When a kiss entangled two hearts
Embedding their belongingness to one another
Overriding logic of mind
Under blankets of night

All fathomed in my mind as fiction
For it must be too good to be true
Love confusing the thoughts of a mind
Until I awaken to find it was, but a dream
