Dragonfly Poem by Michele Clucas

Scarlet and crimson – flaming, the sun
Dragonfly Driven, on delicate wings
Rising to hunt
Seeking its prey

Cobalt meets indigo – sea within sky
Dragonfly Driven, on delicate wings
Rising to hunt
Seeking its prey

Jade kin to Emerald - colour of life
Dragonfly Driven, on delicate wings
Rising to hunt
Seeking its prey

Spun in Silver – song of the moon
Dragonfly Driven, on delicate wings
Rising to hunt
Seeking its prey
