Down With The Ship Poem by Samuel Segun Toluwalase

Down With The Ship

Rating: 5.0

I know you think that I shouldn't still love you or tell you that
But if I didn't say it and still felt it then what's the sense in that.

I promise I'm not trying to make your life harder or return to where we were.

So I'll go down with this ship and lift my hands up in surrender. I know I left too much messes to come back again.

I'm in love and always will be. And when we meet. I'm sure we will. All that's on here will be there still and you'll see I did surrender.

And If this is our sinking end, I'll go down with this ship and surrender. Herein lies the beginning of the end.
