Don'T You Wish- A Song I Wrote Poem by Nicole Faye Evans

Don'T You Wish- A Song I Wrote

Verse 1:
We wake up everyday
with a smile on our face
The world is going by so fast
Like somekind of race

Verse 2:
People yelling and screaming
Trying to get away
From their misery
Dont you just feel sorry

Chorus:
And all we do is walk past
Without a glimpse of how they feel
Without an insight on their life
How do they manage to deal
With all the troublesome things
We have said and done
Dont you just wish the world could rewind
And become undone

Verse 3:
We need to take a
Good look at what we are doing
We are hurting people
With our filthy mouths
And heart-breaking actions

Verse 4:
Who really cares if we're
Black or white
We should all live
In harmony together
(thats right)

Chorus:
And all we do is walk past (walk past)
Without a glimpse of how they feel
Without an insight on their life (their life)
How do they manage to deal
With all the troublesome things
We have said and done
Dont you just wish the world could rewind
And become undone

Verse 5:
You look at each other
with a dirty face
why cant we all be civilised
And wish this world becomes a better place

Verse 6:
Why cant we all get along
The thing we need most is each other
We can all be strong
But only if we do it together.

Chorus
And all we do is walk past
Without a glimpse of how they feel
Without an insight on their life
How do they manage to deal
With all the troublesome things
We have said and done
Dont you just wish the world could rewind
And become undone

Bridge:
Its not fair
In the world we
Have different classes
For different people
Doesnt anyone know
We are all equals,

and its not fair
in our lives
we are always
discriminated for
who we are
and what we're not

Changed Chorus:
Instead of walking past
walk in their direction
to lend a hand.
Take back all those dirty actions
Words and troublesome things
So we can work together
to forget what we've done.
So lets all walk towards the future
and become one.
