Don'T Say Goodbye Poem by Juan Olivarez

Don'T Say Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

Don't say goodbye on a winter day,
Wait for the weather to turn warm.
Then maybe you'll decide to stay,
We just might weather the storm.

Don't leave on a cold and dreary night,
Wait for a fresh breath of spring.
And maybe in the morning light,
To me longer you might cling.

Don't say goodbye in the morning dew,
Wait for the sun to dry the land.
Then I'll pack up and follow you,
With my heart held in my hand.
