Don't Look For Love Poem by Larry Perry Sr

Don't Look For Love

Don't look for love let love find you, for its out there just wait and the right one will come along to find you

Some may be near, some may be far, but if it's meant to be it will be, but believe this a hasty decision, could be the wrong decision

While the right decision could be closer than you think, so remember this Rome wasn't built in a day, but it was destroyed in a day

It's better to wait than to make a hasty decision that will be wrong from the start, easy to get into, but hard as hell to get out of

Now you're trapped with noway out, you don't know day from night, what's coming or what's going, you mixed up because you're all messed up for making a hasty decision

Decision you can't take back, even if you tried,   you look into the sky and ask why oh why that you made this wrong decision that you can't not escape because it's too late now

Because you was found by the wrong one, because you was impatient to wait for the right one to come along and rescue you from your loneliness

Loneliness go as far as you let it, it's in your mind, it's in your soul and takes all hold and control of you, leaving you to make a hasty decision that turns out to be a wrong and a big mistake

A decision that is a mistake that you will regret now because you're trapped and can't get out

In your mind the doors are locked even though they are not, but your mind is telling you, you can't get out because the doors are locked

The one you're with now, love's you so, so at least that's want they say sometimes and sometimes they are real at times

They say they will love you until death do you part and mean it, you're trapped because you're scared, afraid to let your guard down, always looking over your back

They won't let you rest want to know where's you're at when you're gone, wants to know your every move with no peace of your own to call your own no longer in sight

But you still wonder how did you get yourself into this mess, couldn't rest and wait for the best to come your way, now I guess you're trapped

Because you refuse to wait to be found bye the right one and by making that hasty decision that turns out to be the wrong decision for you

We all make mistakes that we have to live with, but some can leave it, while others are trapped with no way out but by death
