DON’T LET THE RAIN GO DOWN ON ME

Don’t let the rain go down on me because that is all the clothes that I am wearing with me
I didn’t bring other clothes with me because I plan to stay here only one Day
I am not planing to get wet if I can help because I will be sick like a dog And this is not my idea of fun
Don’t let the rain go down on me
Because I will be soaked from top to bottom and I will have to wear those wet clothes all day
It is no good to wear wet clothes
Mother Nature knows best when it is the right time for the rain; I don’t Doubt that for a minute
The rain is no fun, because you can’t go anywhere and you are trapped Inside all day
The rain is cold
Don’t let the rain go down on me

I like this poem.
I think the rain is more symbolic than actually real rain and getting soaked with liquids. Infact, I think the symbolic word would be pain instead of rain.
