Don't Just Live, Think! Poem by Sandra Feldman

Don't Just Live, Think!

Rating: 5.0

Don't use your brain
Just to make you walk,
Think in rosy ways,
How to better, living days,
Don't use your precious brain,
Just to make small, stupid talk
Analyze, think, create Links
With History's teaching past,
With people,
Make them know the facts
Thoughts that help and last,
And in united, creative peace
We should be able, in a better way
To walk the face
Of this miraculous Earth,
With less fear,
Witnessing, perhaps an era
Of better understanding
Of peaceful, joyous
New found birth.

A wonderful, powerful and inspirational write. The title and the opening lines alone are so powerful that could propel any reader to rise and be a better person. A must read for everyone and it should be.Poem of the Day. Beautifully and brilliantly penned. Onto my Poem List.
