Dolls Poem by Samantha Heron

Dolls

The purity of a Doll
Is that its not what it seems.
Dolls are people
With feelings and such.
We are fragile like dolls, so to say
We break and we feel it
In each and every way.

In what i believe
Dolls come to life
After we're asleep
Just to make sure
They whisper things in our ear.
That is what makes our dreams
Our nightmares and our hopes

The Dolls in your lives are all very special
So take care of them.
They love you and care, and they know what is right.
Thats why they only come out at night.

The Dolls that are brave enough
To speak in the day
Have no idea what its like
For a child to hear.
The parents would think that its all just their imagination.
But its not if they would listen clearly.
The Dolls are talking
The Dolls are real.
Theres a Doll inside everyone.

My Doll is sad,
She's just alone.
She talks to me
Alone in my room.
She wants to be human
She wants to be free.
She wants to be the human me.
I let her try to control me,
but it only hurt
To be locked in the mind.
I know how she feels
And how she must've felt.
I now wish I was just a doll.
So i wouldn't live in the torture of Real Life.
