Doesn't Seem To Be Poem by Thomas Plotz

Doesn't Seem To Be

Thanksgiving?

Doesn't seem to be
My Family off in other places
My Family whom I've chosen

The rose petals, fall
Falling with the rain
Hearing the chain
Brandish, with the pain
Swing against the frame
Pounding sounds, on the door
Of
Your
Leaving

I'M Blinded to your beauty
I'M Unable to see
My Family
Here
With
Me

God help me Please
I do want to see
To be
With
My
Family's Love

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wasn't alone at all, I just couldn't see them around, and around, and around, me.
