When a not so well to do
Plans to get his only daughter
To get her wedded
At her thirties,
The father hopes a lot,
He anticipates the love
From the people around
For him or his family
To continue at the same pace.
But alas people hide
Their natural smiles
Back home, as they come.
They salute you, greet or hug
But with a fear within,
For you may ask for a loan.
They decrease their frequency
Of visits and calls,
Reduce their hours of stay
Which they did never,
Till your daughter is wedded.
This world...
So complex to go with.
So difficult to bear with,
Had it been so easy
Like lending some money!
When a not so well to do Plans to get his only daughter......... This poem is mind blowing Thank you sir
But with a fear within, For you may ask for a loan. They decrease their frequency Of visits and calls, Reduce their hours of stay Which they did never, Yes, it is such a naked truth. People turn their heads away when you are in dire need of them. And they gather around when they need you much. 10+++
