Doa At Lax Poem by Percy Dovetonsils

Doa At Lax

Congratulations, Isias Hernandez,69,
taking UAL Flt 591 on 14 December,
Orlando to LAX.

You experienced shortness of breath
before the flight
but decided to board

anyway.
Damn the covidos,
full speed ahead!

You died of
covid 19
on the flight.

One of the passengers
giving you CPR
is now infected

by you,
dumbass.
You killed yourself

and risked the lives
of others, too,
though it looks like

the good Samaritan you infected
is going to make it.
No thanks to you.

'Speak no ill
of the dead.'
But what

if the dead
are so self-absorbed
and stupid

they risk
their lives
and others'

just so they can catch
the damned flight
they want?

Is it OK
to speak ill
then?
