Do Not Pluck Poem by Upendra Majhi

Do Not Pluck

If one plucks flower,
in broad daylight,
flower that enhances life'szest
escalates worried mind's matter to God
and squeeze-wipes ennui in toto,
he too plucks many things in the cover of dark.
flowers in the plant bloom inconical or spherical shape,
pluckers put it in drab and dull two dimensions
hundred eyes look through half the windows,
to see, praise the Lord,
Plucker'only two eyes see them,
one flower may engender one hundred poems,
one hundred photographs,
one hundred paintings,
that acts as splendid anchors for peace,
but once plucked, everything ends abruptly,
it withers prematurely.
but once plucked,
plucker's only two eyes see them.
