Do As The Doc Says Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Do As The Doc Says

Do as the doc says

My doctor was in a good mood
He had had a good lunch and smelling of wine
After a quick check-up
He asked me if I drank
I said, yes.
Alcohol is no good for you he said
Breathing wine fume all over me.
I agreed
One should always listen to a doctor.
At the nearest bar, I had a cold beer
To clear my head, form his liquid lunch.
