Diurnal Course Poem by Shujaat Hussain

Diurnal Course

Who enjoys the creation of universe?
Supreme beings nourish His great skill
Choked mind fails to weave praise in verse,
Thankless mortal men don’t know His will.

Every summer sees severe sun
Causes cruel heat and pricking humidity
Some people collapse as their time has run
Nature knows how to perform its duty.

Dark cloud covers the sky springs heavy rains
Soothing scenery all around with loving greenery
Open the mind with visions, fields full of grains-
Saves billions; wears a new look farmers’ country.

Let the lives go with diurnal course
Be thankful what appears in the season
All bow their heads before thy great force
Thou bless us true Spirit, verve with vision.
