Disdain For A Woodcutter. Poem by Lazarus Knix

Disdain For A Woodcutter.

The tool shed in my neighbors garden
Stands amongst a sea of trees,
And though it can’t be called a forest,
It’s quite the striking canopy.

But when the old one grabs his axe
From his shed's interior,
My fear is that he shall hack back
What makes this scene superior.
