Different Worlds Poem by leonard daranjo

Different Worlds

Rating: 5.0

Schadenfreude
In the hearts of the rich, the famous, the powerful and corrupt
You have found an ideal dwelling place
They are snug, complacent and gratified in their own worlds
Ventilation has been hermitically sealed off lest
The stench of poverty; the cries of human misery
Offend their sensibility

Your passionate words give voice to the idea that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Methinks you have more than a little personal experience of your subject. Your voice is strong and clear. Your message will carry on the wind. Wonderful penning. love, Allie xxxx
