For once I thought I was happy,
But was I wrong for letting you go?
Was I selfish for only thinking about my happiness?
Have I forgotten everything I said?
Have I said things that we both know I didn’t mean?
Well I can’t hold anymore lies
So here’s the truth,
I wasn’t wrong for letting you go,
I was stupid for ever letting you go,
It was selfish in thinking about me

The words I used to say haunts me like a ghost.
The stuff I said hurt you,
But I was too upset to see it.
Baby I didn’t mean to crash you down,
I didn’t mean to struck you like a lightening,
I didn’t mean to say that I hated you.
I didn’t mean to try to erase you
From my mind
My thoughts
My heart
My life.
I didn’t realize how much I need you.
