Did you feel that moment
entwined for what seem liked forever
and i didn't ever want to let go

please tell me you felt it
felt the passion
burning between us
its all i've ever wanted
you're all i've ever wanted
just to feel your tender touch
but now i know i'm asking too much

i felt a surge of something like love
a powerful unspoken presence
and i know you felt it too
thats why you left
because it scared you

i felt a sensation
creeping up on me
when i least expected it to
and for a few precious moments
i was with you

the purest feelings terrify us i know
and you couldn't handle it
but if you'd gone with the feeling
and let it carry you
then baby you'd have felt the love
the love of pure sacrifice
from my heart

i've felt it yearning for years
tried to hold back
again out of fear
but my soul has been savaged
and i couldn't hold back any longer

i need your touch
i just wanna feel that moment again
but i know its lost
lost in the winds and and the mountains
flying high
where i wish i could be
we're supposed to grab these moments
with fleeting hearts

if you don't it will pass you by
and leave you lost and broken forever
and because we didn't grab it
we've lost each other
