Devil's Playground Poem by Shylah Clarissa Turcotte

Devil's Playground

Running away
Hidding inside
Don't know where to go.
Scared of life
Scared of death
Watching my blood flow.
Feeling the pain
Up and down my arms
White is streaked with red.
Falling down
Deeper and deeper
Though lying in my bed.
Walls closing in
The air seems to be leaving
The room starts to spin and twirl.
Everythings gone
Reality hard to grasp on to
Life slipping away in a whirl.
The light is bright
And feels so warm
I see His hand calling for me.
Then its too hot
What is happening?
Could it be?
I feel a hand pulling
Me down, down, down
To the depths of hell.
Deep down to the core
Of the Devil's Playground
Where all those creatures like me dwell
