Detached Attachment Poem by Abhijit Jadeja

Detached Attachment

His Attachment’s armor, the silent sprite
Can illumine the way, the truth, the life
If one observes without mind or rite
Or loves without weakness or might
Resonate will the word, AMEN!

His Love’s litany, the passionate pain
Can awaken the unseen, the spirit, the inner-lamps
If one works without attachment or result
Or serves without ruse or clout
Resound will the word, AMIN!

His Silence’ smile, the living choice
Can reverse the fate, the suffering, the inertia
If one gives without parade or pomp
Or bestows without investment or return
Hum will the word, AUM!

Classical Indian theme, expounded at length in the Bhagavad Gita. Nice.
