Destiny Unchanged
There is no destiny
there is no end in sight
we are driving along in life
our hearts open to an invite
The quietness of the landscape
The quickness of its seasons
all but melts away with you
because I don't need a reason
For one day you'll notice
as your driving along the street
I'll be waiting to hitch a ride
in hopes that we would meet
