Despite, or perhaps,
Because of gut wrenching doubts,
Blazing agonies;
Slowly, the spirit seems to
Grow wiser. Beauty
Appears to glow with richer
Textures: light and dark
Shadings. For joy and sorrow
Are integral to
Life's strange, beguiling fabric.
