Despair Poem by DM W

Despair

Rating: 4.0

Despair is a disheveled moon;
Whose blurred light corrodes heart & soul.
It's night breaking through mundane day.
It is the darkness of the Fall,
After Eden's bright innocence.
It is the starkest of meetings
In the mirror; where one sees scars
But never traces of beauty.
