Deserving Of Tears
O the wonder of it all
That God became a man
From the highest to the lowliest of humanity
As Jesus the great I Am
And took it all upon Himself
To suffer in our stead
Knowing full well the onslaught of men
He steadfastly went ahead
And though miracle after miracle
He performed in the Father's will
It was still not enough to cause most men
To believe on the Lord Jesus still
Imagine the heart of a Father
Who's the relief for all of men's fears
Having rejection of such a love that He showed forth
It definitely is deserving of tears
Repentance has its forward stage
When the soul acknowledges it's sin
Finally aware that all of our trangressions
Have definety been against Him
Then that wonderful transformation
When we turn fromdarkness unto light
To find a Saviour such as we have
Gives to our soul a pure delight!
Weeping may endure for a time
But joy comes in the morning
Our hallelujah gained from Christ
Is definitely most heartwarming
The veil of the temple has been rent
The wall of partition is gone
We have an immediate Intercessor
In the Person of the Son
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
