Departed With Lingering Looks! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Nothing happens by saying ‘sorry' several times
after five decades of the mistakes done in the past.
All nights were days when he loved her with all his heart
and days dark nights when he did find her in dreams.
He has lost his strong memory and she her ears now.
The villains with knives are no more to scowl at them
and no more grief at their hearts to shed.They met by fate
smiled awhile, and departed with lingering looks.
