I-s keeping the clouds from turning gray;
A-ugust ninth early morn,
N-ight shadows shall fade
A-way.

A-nother day of gladness
B-ecomes part of your life;
R-apture brought by birth
I-s here to win
O-ver the strife.

O-verwhelming merry mood
P-erfectly pleases your heart;
E-very greeting from friends
R-ekindles the new fresh start.
A-llow the dawn to break,
R-ising to bring much mirth;
I-n the sky the sun will shine
