Deep Down Inside Poem by Dean Simpson

Deep Down Inside

Rating: 5.0

Deep inside a problem is captive
Motionless and Undisturbed
Taken for Granted and Misunderstood.

Scared to let go, Eager to hold on
The trigger waiting to be pulled
A matter of time and time is fading.

Fallen Angels and Hidden Demons
Somewhere in darkness
But no signs of life.

Where is the switch, you need the light
An eternal battle
Time is your thief.

Dreams are your escape
From the living nightmare
Fields of Serenity, Quiet and Peace.

Approach with caution
The paths that split
One wrong turn and life is a myth.

Life is a game
Fight it to win
Nothing comes for free.
