When i first saw you
I felt something new.
When you wanted to be my friend
I didn't know what to do

I spent my nights wishing
For a little something more
Now that you have her
I don't know what to wish for.

When i see you in the halls
I fight the burning in my eyes.
She must be something special.
'cuz she got you for her prize.

I know i must move on
I need to let you go
Cuz the smile i put on for you
Well thats just a show.

You sure are something special
someone ive known for along time
I just hope one day i can look at you and say
'I dont want you back' and mean it this time.
