Decline Poem by Aiman Saleem

Decline

The lips that you loved,
Are burning black.

The eyes that you loved,
Are becoming heavy with bags.

The smile that you loved,
Is fading away.

The beard you played with,
Is turning grey.

The jokes that you loved,
Are hitting back on me.

The madness that you loved,
Is now driving me crazy.

My skin that you loved to caress,
Is now making me crawl.

My stares that you loved to stare,
Are now staring the walls.

My presence that you loved,
Is now making me lonely.

My love, that you always loved,
Will forever stay with you only!
