Decisions Poem by Raz Nicholson

Decisions

I had my body at rest
comforted, relaxed, a lounging snake,
anger wasn't personal per se,
just was you made me move.

I was caught in two minds,
Like Robert at his roads,
child with true or false
just as tip of serpents tongue.

I decided to just guess,
the way out for the worm,
laughing minstrel's madly cheerful faith
when we own both roads of a stranger's fate.
