Deceptive Appearances Prey Within Reality Shifts Poem by Terence George Craddock

Deceptive Appearances Prey Within Reality Shifts

personalities can hide deceptive
under cover of assumed characters
nature hides invisible in camouflage eyes
predators to eye unseen are stealth killers
nature infinite battles in entangled forms
flashy appearance stands out plain hides
still is silent unseen movement attracts eyes
camouflage bewitches in invisibility masks

what is real what is make up appearance
plain easily blends into simple backgrounds
colour disappears patterned in mimic hues
employ flashy bright spring summers feathers
season shift change to drab winter plumage
a mask a screen a cloak a veil clothing hides

who perceives with eye to the lie
who penetrated surface to the soul
wisdom perceive depths or shallows
