Death Is Victorious Poem by Tanner Herndon

Death Is Victorious

Serenity is,
As serenity doth have candles,
Held at a vigil for death,
The baby born, extracted from womb,
Alcoholic will seek death, in the whiskey doom,
Hand over thy love from a swelling well,
Death will provide catharsis for those who seek,
I am as I am, because of you,
One life equals the liberty, of love lost between two,
Ask me not for the razor, but for comfort in plush,
Beauty seeks comment, and your blood,
Starts to rush,
Your cheeks form apples,
Red delicious and such,
The bullet enters the head,
And the tears of the deceived, start to gush,
Everything in logic, starts to blur,
Suicide hath won one more battle,
But the war between life an death rages on,
When the lovers seek love from the ones,
Who are all but gone,
You can't receive love anymore,
From a corpse,
Life should surrender and wave a white flag,
Death has this battle, already in the bag.
