Death By My Own Hands Poem by Davina Vanessa Rivas

Death By My Own Hands

The dark lingers near
And death fallows right behind
The yelling and the voices
Take control grabbing a knief
Slicing one by one
Layers of skin and blood
Spills out slowly and the pain does not exist
The burning gone and stinging gone
The light shining now gone by the one cut
Light now could not be seen
In a endless tunnel where the light
Is harder to reach it moves
Reaching out for a helping hand
And there are hands that will not grab
So what am I still doing here
If there is no one to help me
What can I do the help is no where in sight
Why fight why not let them take control
The darkness and the voices
The knief is there and no one to stop me
Slash
And now the blood begins to pour
The pain begins to fade and the light
Is disappearing in the distances
The life I loved now gone by my hands
My Death by my own hands
Only for the world drove me to do it
