Dear Mom Poem by Marco Bueninck

Dear Mom

Then, your words were lost to me.
Like they were small dots on a radar screen
O, I did recognized them,
but did not know what you meant.

Now after all these years
I do understand the meaning.
Now, it becomes clear to me
but, it's too late now.
Your words lost their meaning.
Or not? But am I too scared now
to accept the full meaning,
to accept their real value?
And what do I do with them.

My God, why is it so difficult!
