Dear Mom Poem by Tiffany Green

Dear Mom

You left me to be on my own.
When ever you call,
I try not to cry.
Its hard to talk to you,
after what you did.
I cry at night.
If only you knew what it's like.
I try not to think of you,
and go on with life.
But if i told you how you make me feel,
What would you do?

When people say we seem alike,
I don't know what to do,
Cause i feel like I could die.
It hurts,
It burns,
Tears me apart.
I'm nothing like you,
for i have a heart.

I try to live my life happily,
But no matter what...
your still there.

I hate to look in a mirror,
'Cause all i see is you.
And when i see you this is what i see:
Sadness, regret, worthlessness, and selfish.
If you want to know how i feel,
Ill say this:
I hate you cause you sink to low levels,
I feel sorry for you cause now you live alone.
But I hate you for being so cruel.
Love is not there.
Buts that's being fair.

You say you love me,
but you don't know what it means.
If you love someone your THERE for them.
If they have a problem you help them through it.
You have no idea what it is to love some one,
Just look at what you become.
So next time you try to say you love me,
Think before you speak...
