Dear Mama Poem by Melissa Gray

Dear Mama

Rating: 5.0

Dear Mama,

You always told me I was special,

You made me believe in myself, even in my teenage years,

You still love me even though I can be a little devil,

Dear Mama,

You have given me hope that I can go far,

You support me and all of my crazy schemes,

You've taught me to believe that everyone is perfect just the way they are,

Dear Mama,

We've been through so much,

But no matter how bad things get I promise I will always be there for you,

I promise I'll always be there when you need a crutch,

Dear Mama,

Promise that when I've moved on you'll call me every night,

Because deep down I will need to hear your voice,

I pray that when I'm grown up that we'll still be alright,

Dear Mama,

No matter how old I get I will always love you,

I will always curl up on the couch to watch old movies,

And no matter how old I get I will always stick to you like glue...
