Dear Heartbroken Poem by Patrick Banda

Dear Heartbroken

dear heartbroken,
in a world of despair,
rejected and dejected,
enough you have cried,
even to flood your own
world.waste no more of
your precious tears, over
people whose minds you never
cross.

dear heartbroken,
in a world of dismay,
pick up every single piece of
your heart.put it together like
a puzzle, and carry it as if it
as an egg, or a grass so fragile.

dear heartbroken,
in a world of despondency,
lay down those heavy burdens of
memories, reminding you nothing
but traumas.let go and move on,
throw away every past into the
sea of memories.

dear heartbroken,
in a world of distress,
don't let one obstacle tear your
life apart.pick up your mat and
go, for life holds more than you
can imagine, even more than you
have lost.

carry hope with you,
its your bridge to the other
side, to a future so bright.
there lies your paradise,
your dreams await you.
