Dear God Poem by Didier Sixte Kahungu

Dear God

With which man resides sight beyond flesh?
That you trick them with shaping their tomorrow
Who needs beyond their hunger?
That you hand them with want and selfishness
Who wants death that your son should die for their freedom?

Why is their eyes stuck on the picture coated by mystery
But their hand is made to find a way?

If I knew a man I would chose how to be boy

If I were asked to decide
With no restriction
If I were to ever scream foul at you
I would forbid men to will
I would allow them no choice
I will reveal the farce in Free Will
I will let you have the rod.
Because in thy sovereign mind
Should lie the way sought by men
